Andoeni’s past work
The Sync Society
The Sync Society is founded by Holistic Health Expert, Nicole Bendayan. This was my first real exposure to menstrual health work, social media, online educational platforms, and digital community management. Working alongside Nicole, we collaborated in the development of an online learning platform that educates women on how to sync their nutrition, fitness, and lifestyle to the phases of their menstrual cycles to improve their emotional and physical health. I also designed and facilitated online focus groups with members of the online community to find possible new business opportunities.
Rif Care is a women-owned period care brand that creates biodegradable pads and tampons made with 100% organic cotton and hemp fiber. With Rif Care there is an ongoing collaboration. It first began through UGC-style content for 3 months where I created educational videos about menstrual health as well as promotional content for their products. The second project involved writing the copy for their First Period Kit. The copy was aimed to be educational towards young folks getting their period for their first time as well as their parent. The copy included an explanation of why periods happen, the four phases, red flags in period care, how to use pads and tampons and lastly, conversation prompts to spark dialogue between parents and their kids. Currently, I create weekly educational content for Rif Care’s social media.
Sustainable Food Product Research and Design
Collaborating with global giants such as Google, Sodexo, Ab InBev, Dole, and more. I took on design-thinking challenges that aimed to create new products, and new entries to market, sparking new design methodologies in the company’s R&D team. Projects included a range of capabilities such as primary and secondary market research, user interviews, focus group design and facilitation, creating ideation workshops for both internal and external stakeholders, persona generation, in-depth global product mapping, and more.
Looni
Looni is a new menstrual health brand created by Chelsea Leyland and her co-founder, Tatiana Steel. Looni creates supplements to help balance PMS mood and symptoms. Looni has set out to continue innovating new products to help manage period symptoms that many women go through. During our collaboration, I analyzed the outcomes of the 95 total responses for 3 prototypes. Through this analysis, I clustered and found repeating themes in the user’s feedback. I concluded with opportunities for improvement of their products and questions to dive deeper into their next testing. Additionally, I conducted a FemTech general market overview using market research. The outcomes were an overview of the reproductive health and general wellness market, the drives and threats of current and future trends, competitor analysis, and consumer archetypes.
